Sunday Shoutout!

This week's shout out goes to two of my favorite people in the entire world, Paul and Kathy Rivet, and my favorite place to eat, their restaurant up in Old Forge, NY, 'Five Corner's Cafe.'

There is nothing better than going to a place where you are treated like family, ordering a nice chilled bottle of Firestone, and enjoying a spread of delicious food made with the finest ingredients.

Beyond their restaurant, these two are responsible for introducing me to the fact that food can be an adventure, that biscotti goes stale, and that wine is the nectar of the gods...all with lots of laughter, love and friendship. They put up with me, the world's worst waitress, for over 8 years, and introduced me to my husband.

Their restaurant just opened for the winter season, so if you are up for a road trip, and a great meal all around, take a drive up to Old Forge, NY this winter.
